Potentially an awkward examination for the lads tonight. Look's like the Gaffer's unearthed another potential gem in Leon. Hard graft in the run-in for all - so respect is due.
I have a certain feel for for the surroundings of Colston Avenue. I feel given a feel-good factor the club has real potential. I hope, should they actually go down that one day acquaintances will be renewed.

Had to work hard tonight in what was a scrappy game, but never felt we were going to chuck it away particularly after going two up.

All of a sudden that's 1 defeat in 9 league games, and if we can get our home form to the same level as our away form - who knows.

Onwards to Thursday. Perhaps now tougher than it might have been as Hampton's league game was postponed tonight.

Support last night

I know I had a bit of a moan about the turnout at Wealdstone a couple of weeks ago, but I thought our turnout last night was very good, particularly given the problems on the trains out of Victoria. I know the players and management really appreciated the support last night.

Hope everyone got home earlier than I did!
