will be a big loss should he move on,also i not surprised that ryan palmer is on his way to leatherhead as he had a good game there for us.i also think he is a loss as well as he seemed a good wide player for us although he didnt get many opportunities.

I don't think Ollie is quite at the level required for a full time pro just yet, might be better for him in the long run to stick around with us for the season at least, I was really unsure about him to start with, the silly red card at Kingstonian and the absolute mare he had at Met Police meant I had my doubts, but he has settled nicely and improved since then. Palmer is no great loss, his debut at Leatherhead he looked OK, but hasn't really shown a lot since.

I'm surprised Stevenage are looking at him given they took Okimo from Wealdstone at the beginning of the season and he seems to be warming the bench at present. They seem to be well off for left backs.

I am sorry to see Ryan Palmer go. I thought he had a good game at Leatherhead and would have liked to have seen him get more games. Given our attacking options down the right have been blunted by the enforced repositioning of Chris Seeby to centre back, I think Ryan Palmer could have done a job.

Young players who show consistency, skill, good attitude, pace and strength will always be sought after by full-time professional clubs. Significantly, they do not have to be the perfect end product. Potential I suspect is often the key. Good luck to Ollie Sprague. I am sure he will always be welcomed back if the situation arises.
