Blackburn gave a debut to a 15 year old on Saturday in the FA Cup. He could not wear their sponsors name on his shirt because he was under age.

Most clubs don't have a problem with blooding new young players if they are good enough. Nor do I. There's an awful; lot of crap talked about not doing this, quite frankly.

For many years now, Boro have shied away from it . As have their neighbours up the A444. Preferring to select instead the elderly footballing journeymen or mercenaries as they bring in "stability." ( Lol)

If Boro' survive, they may finally have to grasp the nettle. (Good!)

As for "inexperienced " managers and "success" I believe The late Kaiser, after a (very brief) spell with OM won something called The World Cup shortly afterwards.

Hope for Kyle yet then?
