Mr Nuneaton Boro

Couldn't help noticing that Griff had a football team blackout to collect money to go towards the funeral costs for Chelsea an I was happy to buy a few teams. Griff football club bought their own goes on the blackout, and won. They donated all of the money.
I believe that Chelsea's brother and sister were at Griff, and of course I'm sure were very grateful for the gesture.
I can't imagine that they had budgeted for the cost of a funeral. I know that if Nuneaton Boro was still in existence there would have been a collection at the ground that would have raised a lot of money. Is there any way to still have a collection for Chelsea from the supporters who knew him and saw him week after week at the Boro? I'm not sure how crowd funding is set up, but if anyone did do it i would be happy to donate

Lovely, for want of a better word given the circumstances, to see donations from so many ex players- Gez Murphy, Gav Cowan, Adam Walker, James Armson, Kyle Storer, Paul London, Peter Manuel, Steve Farmer, Guy Hadland

Lovely gesture from the Griff.

There has been a crowd funder set up and posted on Boro-Chat. Here is the link https://www.gofundme.com/f/alan-hudson-aka-chelsea-final-farewell

Hope is not a plan.

Thanks. i don't do Facebook, so didn't know about the fund raising. There may be others who use this forum who also don't look at Facebook. so the link will also help them.
