I don't know how this one started, but here is a list of the teams / clubs beginning with "W" against whom we have played First Team matches in the last 70 years...

Wallingford Town
Waltham Abbey
Walthamstow Avenue
Walton & Hersham
Walton Casuals
Wantage Town
Ware
Warta Poznan' [POLAND]
Waterlooville
Watford XI
Wealdstone
Welling United
Wellingborough Town
Welwyn Garden City
Wembley
West Ham United XI
West Middlesex Sunday League
Weston-super-Mare
Weymouth
Whitton
Whyteleafe
Willesden [as well as Willesden Reserves]
Willesden Hawkeye
Willesden Town
Wimbledon
Windsor & Eton
Wingate
Wingate & Finchley
Witham Town
Witney Town
Wivenhoe Town
Woking
Wokingham Town
Wolverton Town [also known at different times as Wolverton Town & British Railways and as Wolverton Town (Milton Keynes)]
Wood Green Town
Worcester City
Worcester Park
Worthing
Wycombe Wanderers

I'm not sure if Willesden Town and Willesden were the same club with a name change, or two different clubs; certainly Willesden Hawkeye were a different club altogether. Likewise, Wingate and Wingate & Finchley were different teams.

The other question concerned the more 'unlikely' teams our Reserves had played in county cup ties.
