Sad to read that Scott is going to take a break from the game due to personal/business reasons.
Right decision, imo,to promote Martyn Spong up to assistant manager. He brings such experience and commitment to the bench.

With regards to Scotty what are the views of the club to giving Scotty a testomonial. The goal that got us into the Conference South in 2009 will live in the memory of many Staines fan for a lifetime.

Been out of action for a few days just now catching up with the news.Very sorry to see Scott leave ,however, fuly understand why he has made the decision and think the cub have made a big error in not being able to agree terms with him. His style and professionalism has had a very positive effect on the development of the young players who were under his guidance at the club during the last couple of seasons. Not a person to "shout his mouth off "but a great mentor for any young player.
Hope he is not out of the game for too long and stays close to home, as I for one would love to see how a team under his sole charge develops.

Best wishes to all
Norm
