I know more about selling than I do about football, ...but it seems Crazy to me , to get rid of your top goal scorer, when trying to get points, its like sacking your top salesman, when you're behind target ?????

according to reports on various sources Callum could'nt gauarantee that he would always be available.
In the position that the club find itself in (i.e bottom) we need all players available , so it was obviously felt that he would become surplus to requirements.
A shame really,as he seemed a nice bloke.

John, I think you have got this the wrong way round, football conference.co.uk states that Nicky Forster "was not in a position to guarantee it (first team football every week), so - following discussions, it was agreed that he (Calum) could move on". Which makes his departure even stranger, when what the team needs is "experienced players to take the weight of the younger ones" replacing a 33 yr old with a 20 yr old seems difficult to understand.

I read it that Nicky Forster states that "callum at this stage of his career needs first team football and as he is not in a position to guarantee that we have reluctantly let him go"
But who cares how you read it - Callum has gone.
Personally i think that him and Jerel Ifil only came to the club because of their previous history with Marcus Gayle so now Marcus has gone,it does'nt surprise me that both now left.
