Shambles !

So after a brief break away from conference south football , we returned with home fixture against promotion chasing Bromley .

Not only was this a miss match of Gigantic proportions, the total lack of Professionalism shown was embarrassing .

Nearly 3 weeks since our last game , can someone tell me what the management & players have been working on in this time ?
It didn't look like they had been working on set pieces or any kind of defending come to that .

In my humble opinion not one single player covered themselves in any kind of glory today.
We were lead to believe as fans that although the club were in real trouble at the bottom of the league we wouldn't go down without a fight .
Well if that was us fighting to win a football match then im a freaking Dutchman.
Has the wool been pulled over our eyes regarding Forster ? is he all that ? To be honest I didn't expect us to avoid relegation, I thought the chairman should have sacked Gayle long before he did and given a new man longer to save the season.

Now I know what your all saying .. Bromley are a good side , Pay top money and are always up there etc etc . and I agree they were very good side , however we were simply dreadful a new low in the season.

So that's all I have for now , you asked for me to post so I have .

And Don't forget ..

I don't suppose many can argue with this post Andrew. Hopefully it will be a 'massive' reality check ahead of Tuesday's fixture with Wealdstone, Hayes, Sutton, Hemel, Farnborough and Stortford all following as 6 pointers!

I was surprised that several Bromley folk stayed in the bar for the second half!

That's the closest I've come to walking out of a game.

No threat up front.

Powderpuff midfield.

Keystone Cops defending.

That's why we're going down.

And so Staines are down.

Any remote lingering hope has to have been extinguished yesterday. Even though only 2 go down, to stay up this season you will need at least 40 points. This means that after yesterday Staines need to win 8 and draw 1 out of 14 to reach even that minimum target. This just isn't going to happen because, as demonstrated yesterday and in recent games , there is no forward on the books capable of scoring enough goals to keep them up. If you don't score, you don't win.

Swans would have done better getting some proven Step 3 or 4 forwards, but it's too late now. All Forster can do is play out the season, try to keep defeats to a low level and improve performance, and hope that in the close season he gets some money from the club to get a new team to challenge in the Ryman Premier. 'Cos yesterday's team and display won't be up to that task at all.
