Great to see that Darren Purse has signed on for next season.
A very experienced player who as we saw in the latter stages of the season still has the commitment and passion for the game.
A player like him will strike fear into many a forward in whatever league we end up in

Indeed a very good signing. Plenty more needed mind you, but the securing of Purse's signature is an excellent base to start from for next season.

Excellent news that Tommy Brewer has signed on for next season alongside Darren Purse.
Both highly influential players and a good base for the team both in defence and midfield.

Darren Purse ready to lead Staines Town promotion charge after penning new deal

The former Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff City defender moved to Staines in March but couldn't prevent the club from avoiding relegation. After signing a new contract last week, Purse revealed there were numerous factors for deciding to extend his stay at Wheatsheaf Park.
