Brentford

Really enjoyed the game and we continued to play some good stuff. The down side was Tommy's injury which didn't look good. What's most pleasing for me is the way the team reacted when Brentford scored, gone are the days of heads dropping and giving up now it seems the reaction is ok let's score another ourselves. On another thread it's been mentioned about the low crowds, in my view its to be expected as we will always suffer at the expense of the "bigger" teams around us, Brentford included. I stood next to a Brentford fan yesterday who lives in Staines but whose last visit to us was over two years ago. Yes the crowds will increase if we keep playing as we are and get good results but unfortunately the Chelsea, QPR, Fulham, Brentford diehards will take a long time to defect. Anyway 6/6 next weekend against Maidenhead hopefully will keep our diehards more than happy.
