YESTERDAY

Yes , I have only seen the the home matches this season, however, from what happened yesterday, if we do not buck our ideas up pretty quickly its going to be another long season of struggling to stay out of trouble. We never really tested the goalkeeper and on the evidence we are still short of goal scoring players up front.

Thought our no 5 , Gough , had an excellent game and is growing in confidence and stature with every game-deserved the MOM award.

Is it correct that we have only won 2 games at home since January?

Best wishes to all

Norm

I agree with you Norm, however lets not get too despondent we have only lost 2 games, both by 1 goal, got the second best defensive record in the league, so if we can find our goalscoring boots, and another centre forward then who knows what these boys can achieve.
We do have two players in Purse and Brwer to come back in too, so I really dont think we will be fighting at the bottom of this league this year, if we win our game in hand then we are only a couple of points of the play offs.
So I think our glass is more then half full then half empty !!!

I would agree that we are looking very solid at the back most of the time , and i think that if the pitch was'nt so wet yesterday we probably would'nt have conceded the goals the way we did.
We are there or thereabouts up front - lots of chances/half chances are being created but the final finish is not quite there.
I am sure that with thecrosses and chances we are creating it is only a matter of time before the goals scored column starts rocketing!!
