After wins for both the 1st team and the Reserve team it is great to see that both teams are top of their respective leagues.
Onwards and Upwards.

Missed a good game today John, despite being literally a park pitch with no perimeter fence and no spectator facilities, we had a pint opposite the ground in a 500 year old coaching inn. Was a most memorable day out, as close to grass roots as you could possibly get!

What's wrong with drinking in the ground?
Puts money back into the club ;)

1. It was an away game.

2. Even if it was a home game the bar money would go to the Laleham Recreation Ground, not the football club.

Couldn’t agree more! The reason being the cricket club bar at the ground was shut, I expect if there was a cricket match being played it would have been open as the ground is technically a cricket club with a couple of goal posts and dugouts wheeled out during the football season!
