Ebbsfleet Away

Its amazing what a lick of paint can do, oh and not forgetting the Kuwaiti Money Ebbsfleet are enjoying . The stadium looks set ready for the football league, now all they need to do is Get out the conference south oh and the conference premier.

Apparently Ebbsfleet have spent £350,000 on a new pitch , sadly their goalkeeper didn't see the one divot on an otherwise perfect pitch . and totally spooned a back pass into his own net .
now as Staines fans we haven't had much to laugh about this season , so that moment goes down as comedy gold .

After Saturday things couldn't really get any worse, but going 1 down after 3 minutes the 20 swans fans all looked at each other and a collective groan could be heard as we all feared the worse.

However Staines did battle hard , showed fight and Ebbsfleet knew they had been in a game . Special Mention to Jake Kempton for his First goal in a Swans shirt.

No Doubt the realists amongst us knew we wouldn't get anything out the last 2 games, we have bigger battles with lesser teams .

Look out for the own goal from last night , like I said a lighter moment in an otherwise grim season so far .

And don't forget

Have to say I enjoyed the trip! I came away feeling like we had got something out of the game and am really looking forward to .... When Saturday Comes! Loved the 'dodgy keeper' moment, but then who wouldn't ... possibly our luck may be changing after seeing that.
