Today's game has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

A game that needed passion, commitment and desire and Staines Town showed it in bucket fulls. It wasnt pretty football but it showed we had guts and passion and a good team spirit, long may it continue.

Great result and great that we can still talk about football. It really shows we now have a team (consistent amongst the squad players) that can compete at this level. Brightlingsea are a Premier side - although they are on a bad run at present. I'm not sure if they looked at the tables and thought we would roll over - but their pre-match warm up seemed to consist of a few exercises - without the ball, for a very short space of time. They soon realised we could match them for skill and effort and I thought we were worthy winners.

For those of you who like a little witticism, read on:

Dyslexic kid to mum …
Mum can I have a McDonalds ?
No you can’t
But mum please can I get a McDonalds ?
No it’s rubbish food
But mum let me have ….
I tell you what if you can spell McDonalds I’ll get you one .

Fuck that I’ll have a KCF .

So pleased the club has started to win matches, I couldn’t honestly see it happen under current circumstances so I am so happy to be proved wrong and will be eating humble pie for all my negativity! A big well done to all those involved in the turning the clubs fortunes around on the pitch and long may it continue! COYS!!!

Jack Porter has stepped into the Managers role quietly and effectively.
He has instilled a team spirit where we are all playing as a team and 3 wins and a draw in his 4 competitive games in charge (ignoring the Middx Senior Cup which we lost when he experimented with the line up) is no mean feat.
The players are responding well to his Managerial instructions and the team spirit is there for all to see.
Long may it continue.
Roll on Brentwood but let's beat South Park on Saturday first and get another 3 league points under our belt.

Got down to the ground about 2.15. Hadn't looked ar the website since 8 o'clock. The sky was blue, the pitch looked perfect and no one else around. I came home and checked so:

Not sure how true this is but Liverpool are looking for a new manager.
Apparently him and his family are moving home to Germany.
Not heard much detail but overhead a scouser who drinks in our pub saying the klopps go back this weekend

Nice joke Arthur.
Heavy overnight rain had caused an early pitch inspection (9.30am),due to the distance our opponents were travelling.
Their coach to us was due to leave around 10am.
Local referees doing early pitch inspections tend to look at the weather forecast as well as the condition of the pitch.
The weather forecast was saying heavy rain through the morning - not clearing until the afternoon.
Maybe the referee doing the pitch inspection took that into account.
Oh well , no football and dragged (screaming !!!) round the shops on a Saturday afternoon.
Life must get better. Lol.
Roll on the re-scheduled game on Tuesday evening.
