Pretty sure Walker was recalled early, but from a season long loan during the January window, then farmed straight back out to Port Vale.

Also pretty sure QPR would have to go down the route of an emergency loan or free agent should their keepers drop like flies. Dieng is ours until January, regardless of what happens at QPR. I believe the same to be the case with Smith, players can go out on loan to non-league clubs at pretty much any time but can only be recalled during a transfer window.

Not saying I disagree with you by any means, but thems the rules (at least I think they are).
