I'd add to that, for the worst parts of last night's game the forward looking players weren't showing much movement at all.

A lot of times a defender or a deep-lying midfielder got the ball with time, looked up for options and just saw 5/6 players standing still or moving slowly whilst closely marked. We needed some more commitment to runs to create passing options rather than just hitting it into areas and trying to pick up the scraps.
