Swedish side Ostersunds FKare close to signing another English player - the 25-year-old winger Blair Turgott, Sky Sports News understands.

The ex-West Ham youth scored 18 goals in 46 appearances for National League side Maidstone last season.

Ostersund have embarked on a policy of bringing young English talent to the far north of Sweden since the appointment of ex-Tottenham talent-spotter David Webb.

In their ranks they already have ex-Manchester United, West Ham and Lazio attacker Ravel Morrison, ex-Chelsea midfielder Charlie Colkett, and former Crystal Palace striker Francis Jno-Baptiste.
