Just not going our way!

IMO I thought that was a pointed gained. A tough game, a tough team we played and on another day we’re probably 3 or 4 goals down. I thought the sub cost us the win, taking Stokes off and bringing Kenner’s on was a mistake. Stokes is such an experienced player, to take him off in a game like that was costly. However, I can see why Mark took the risk, if we score a second the game is done. It’s what I said 2 weeks ago, keep it tight and don’t give anything away, especially when we’re 1-0 up with 8 minutes left.

1. Great to see Nuge back in the team, made an impact from the start.

2. Cowley was great, brilliant goal, worked hard and kept the ball exceptionally well. A player we need to keep starting.

3. Paul Farman with another match saving performance, really saved our bacon at times. Strange to think his probably one of the best keeper in the division but is bottom.

5 points from 33 is obviously poor, but I have seen some improvement with Mark in charge and would like to see a few more games with him in the driving seat. October is massive. The next 4 matches are all really tough and it’s going to be difficult to get a win from any of those 4.
