My view....

Stevenage has never had many friends, maybe due to the way we played "our" successful brand of football during those heady years.

There was a siege mentality at Broadhall Way where teams were scared stiff to play us....we were so intimidating.

The Town is perceived, by the outside world, as the basement end of Hertfordshire. We as fans all thrived on it.

We knew we could make our Town something off the back of football where nobody else in our area could.

Stevenage was raw, had a crappy ground but was a cauldron inside.

That is my Stevenage.
