What makes Stevenage to me?

In truth I don't really know how to define it

I lived in the town most of my life until 1978 and then moved eventually to Lincolnshire.

But I know the first result I have always looked for in those 41 years and that has been Boro.

I watched hundreds of games when I lived in the town since they joined the Southern League and in all their guises, through promotions, relegations and liquidations, in good and absolutely dire times.
OK I can't get to many games these days - the last one was Ronnie's Testimonial - so cannot comment meaningfully on performances of the team or individuals.

But Sev is right, if we truly believe in the Club then we must fight to survive and to progress on and off the pitch because no one else will do it for us. We can have our differences on the Forum but in the end we have to be united in our desire for the Club to succeed, something surely everyone who says they are a fan wants.

So IMHO wherever I might be now - I too am Stevenage.
