Premiership and Championship very reliant upon TV money and target a global audience. They need to complete the season to get their hands on very substantial sums (Premier League alone = £760m?).

Leagues 1, 2 and National League very reliant upon gate receipts, plus crumbs from the Premiership table, so attempts to complete the season too costly surely. Target audience not global so limited demand to watch remaining games played behind closed doors and streamed.

In my opinion, it's time for Leagues 1, 2 and National to align, consider regionalisation, pay caps and going back to part time. Trying to keep aligned with Premiership and Championship structures and processes a ruinous prospect.
