Difficult to judge against 10 men

But that was arguably the best I've seen us play since that 0-4 win at Cambridge.

They weren't a patch on the side that whacked us at their place but they still had some good players and plenty of physical players.

Once they got back to 1-1 and got the red card I fully expected it to become a battle of attrition with them putting everyone behind the ball and us getting continually more frustrated as we tried to break them down.

Huge credit to both the fullbacks and the midfield for opening up so many spaces so often. Some of the build-up one and two touch passing forcing Carlisle to continually shuffle across the pitch, tire themselves out and get frustrated.

Norris' hold up play today was excellent at times too.

Genuinely hope we can see some of that form a few more times before the season is out.
