Overall I think that's the best we have played since the days of Illias Chair. There were a number of outstanding performances, not least from Luke Norris (I hope Agent Eaves was watching...he is unusually quiet) and the midfield as a whole. I criticised Arthur Read last week, but yesterday he showed just how good he can be.

He is the one loan player (other than Cummins, who won't be an option) that would be an excellent permanent signing.
Is that realistic? I guess it depends how highly he is rated at Brentford.

As the results pile up it becomes more and more evident that we have a potential promotion squad if we can keep it together for next season and that there are strengths within it that we didn't see earlier in the season when the quality of Pett, Lines, TVC and Osborne were absent. For example, that Coker has a great left foot and that Cuthbert and Prosser are more or less interchangeable in central defence.

It is one of the ironies of this weird year that I have seen more Stevenage games than ever before. Before Christmas it was painful. Now it's becoming a pleasure.
