Here's League 2 this season where a red has happened:

Number of games: 10
Points for 10 man team: 5 - 1 win from an already winning position, 2 draws (0-0 to 1-1, and 1-1 before the red). No team has won or equalized coming from behind.
Average ppg: 0.5 (this is pretty much the number the researcher posted as an advantage to the full strength team).
Goals scored before red: 5 - Avg: 0.5.
Goals scored after red: 2 - Avg 0.2.
Goals conceded before: 8 - Avg 0.8.
Goals conceded after: 9 0 Avg 0.9.

Mansfield - 2 reds. L2. Lost 1-0 . Losing 1-0 before a red, the card was at the end of the game. Drawing 0-0 - lost 2-0, both goals after the red.

Scunthorpe - 1 red. 1-1. Southend at home, red in 78th minute, Southend scored almost immediately. Scunthorpe scored in 90th.

Walsall - 1 red. Away to Bolton. Went 1-0 up, then 1-1. Red card happened, then let in a second to lose 2-1.

Harrogate - 1 red. Winning 3-1 at Crawley before the card, the score didn't change.

Tranmere - 1 red. Losing 1-0 away at Newport. That was the result.

Crawley - 1 red. 1-1 home to Newport. Both goals scored before the red.

Carlisle - 1 red. ROFLCOPTER! Lost 3-1, all goals scored after the red.

Port Vale - 1 red. Away at Mansfield. Lost 4-0, 2 goals before and 2 after.

Bradford - 1 red. Lost 1-0 away at Barrow, goal before the red.

The summary numbers would suggest that a team is a little more likely to concede with 10 men, but MUCH less likely to score.

Out of 10 games, only 5 points were won. Of those, one was a 3-1 win with the goals scored before the red, the other 2 were draws, one was 1-1 before the red and stayed that way, the other was 0-0 and was a 1-1 draw at home to one of the worst teams in the league.
