Listening to the commentary - Joel Byrom is with Steve on comms. Worth a listen.

Can't have been that bad...

Layth gave the players a 9 rating..
I think Dino put out a team thinking we were playing the Charlton side from near Hitchin.

Hope this result doesn’t dent SA Membership sales now that a big draw in the next round looks less likely.

Three goals in seven minutes means Charlton will now top the group and we will have to avoid defeat at Wimbledon in order to qualify, and face an away trip in the next round.
We have decided to not bother clearing any crosses and not bother marking players for second balls, leaving them free in the middle to tap in. Dino brought Ferry on after the second and his man then taps in the third unchallenged.
Shambles at the back. No cohesion in the middle and no link with the strikers.

We were awful. Worse than Saturday's 1st half performance

In other words... We look like a reserve team who don't play reserve matches regularly.

We're looking worryingly like we might have to play more games in the competition, so trying to rectify that I guess

This competition offers more lucrative returns than the League Cup, it deserves far greater respect.
£260,000 available to us in prize money alone.

What the flaming galahs is Newton doing playing? Surely would have been wiser to give him a rest and start Reid?

He's been on the bench recently, so Dino probably reckons he needs some minutes. Not sure I'd have risked him with Revell potentially out.

Really poor, Georgio hooked early. Hunt booked, Newton chasing shadows on his own.
Other than that a good game :-)

Was he played down the left again? If so I feel really sorry for the kid as he looked so good in preseason played in his correct position.

No, he was played down the right, wasn't tracking back which Dino wasn't happy with so hooked him.

Right mid.
Lined up:
Appleyard
TVC Wilko Iontton Hint
McKee
Georgiou Makoma Ball Sonupe
Newton
Ferry replaced Georgiou straight after the second goal and the first thing Ferry does a minute later is leave his man unchallenged to tap in their third.
Reid replaced Newton second half and Smyth came on for his debut, replacing Sonupe.
Nobody did remotely well. We were a shambles defensively. We even had two players booked. Why the hell he played Iontton and destroyed him at CB I do not know, and even though not at fault at all, that is gonna ruin Appleyard too.

Is there any way of stopping this bloody app going to sleep when I'm listening? I'm on Android 8.0 and have taken the app off battery saving, etc. It's bloody infuriating having to restart it every 10 minutes.
