Are they still doing the Sunday games too? Like the redzone for FA Cup matches televised on the BBC?

I don't agree with Port Vale v Sunderland as a televised game. The first round should be all about the non league sides getting picked.

In fairness Haringey Borough, Maidenhead United and Hampton & Richmond Borough are all non league (and are pick up £75K) and Port Vale will be non league next season!
Metropolitan Police get £6,750 whilst Chorley, Guiseley, Hitchin Town & Solihull Moors, Weston Super Mare, Alfreton Town & little old Barnet are getting £12K coverage, and don't forget hard up Salford City too.
When ITV had the FAC there was bugger all non league coverage.

Hitchin Town or Solihull Moors stand to pick up £12k + £36k plus gate so not bad. Boro of course won't!

Theyve just gone for 4 of the biggest supported / most well known teams in the competition at this stage and picked those that are away to maximise viewers.

They couldn't give a shit that dog and duck fc have got through 17 rounds already to get here and £100k of tv money will be a lifeline for them

Exactly right! We have potentially Man Utd v Stoke televised to look forward to in the third round then.

Sunderland need the money.

The Championship parachute payments are not enough.
