Taking sentiment and longevity out of it.... Is the current Cuthbert better than Robbo at his peak as a footballer (not as a captain, leader, legend).

Cuthbert has had a good season so far which you'd expect at this level from a man of his experience.

Shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Robbo though.

Compare him to Ashton maybe.

In terms of his ability to influence matches in so many ways (and at both ends of the field) Robbo has it.
He was also doing it in League One.
You can't really separate Robbo the footballer from Robbo the leader. Both were integral parts of the overall performance.
Cuthbert, though, is a mighty fine signing.
