Possibly an unpopular opinion ..... but he needs to be dropped. Maybe a spell out the side may help him - he was poor today!

You can’t drop the captain.

What you can do is make Cuthbert the captain.

Agree, chased shadows, didnt link well with Kennedy or Newton.

Can't fault his effort but we need someone who can get shots off.

Guthrie will be fresh on Saturday, Newton should be fit enough to start.

They all should have been fresh, we hadn't played for ages!

In the time since we last played, Lincoln have played twice. And had a coach journey to make, and we know how hard that makes things.

Of course, that explains why we lost today because we haven't played for two weeks, so for tbat reason the whole team needs resting and so does the management team,so therfore puds you and baldock Boro can be in charge for our next game.

I’ve said for a while that Revs isn’t doing it as a striker for me (apart from the work rate) and that I’d prefer Guthrie and Newton up front.

I agree not great today. Timlin and Bostwick were the best on show for me today

Agree, would like to see Newton and Guthrie have a run of games together up front

Guthrie back from suspension next week, so should allow for a bit of rotation.

Guthrie doesn't do it for me, no interest until someone gives him the ball. The one and only time he moved to shut a man down and he gets red carded, on second thoughts perhaps thats why he has no workrate.

He strikes me as a bit hit and miss - he'll either have a blinder or a stinker.

His languid style winds me up, he looks lazy. When maybe he isn't, he is merely conserving his energy to focus just on his job of scoring/creating, whereas Alex wants to chase everything.
