That's 10 points secured. What Do people think the current issues are and what positions do we need to fill in the transfer window ? I'm not calling for Dino to be sacked, but I don't think Wallace will have much patience for very long if results don't start to improve.

The same problems that have been there all season. I highlighted them after the Crewe game again so won't bother here.

Dino should not be sacked, needs the rest of this season and next to see if he's up to it.

Today was just as shit as every other game at Cambridge.

Midfield is the problem for me we have no real creativity, Byrom and Timlin are well past their best, both too old, too slow, too predictable and too similar and Kennedy is too inconsistent and lazy

Indeed. we have a thin squad with no depth. The signings of Ball and Sonupe from regional football have not worked out. Reid is lightweight. Guthrie is a headcase who is probably on way too much money. Kennedy is not suited to the ‘style’ Dino wants to play. I’m not sure we have a single player that anyone could say they were excited to watch. Alarm bells must be ringing in Wallace’s head. Around 2000 home fans on NYD - a day when there is f all else to do - sadly shows the level of interest. Sad

Rather sad that this season the resident letters idea was bought in to try and get more people to attend games, but unfortunately that hasn't worked either. Even if we dropped the admission prices I still couldn't see this improving attendances.

Ball isn't good enough for the football league. Sonupe has potenatial but isn't quite there yet. Reid needs to be given a chance and perhaps start games which won't happen.

No. I don't know what the answer is regarding attendances. I agree, dropping prices probably wouldn't up them by more than a few (and actually, I don't think circa 20 quid for an afternoon out is too bad). At least the club has tried to do things to try and help, like the residents letter.

I wonder how many people are affected by the reduced train service, since last May. I know my trains to/from Hatfield have been cut from 2 per hour to 1 per hour, so one cancellation and your afternoon is ruined.

The football just isn't enjoyable and for the most part the atmosphere both home and away is awful. I'm having loads more fun this season watching a team sitting 15th in the Northern Premier League. They may not win every week but you can tell they are trying and they actually try and play decent football.

I forgot how much I missed so many aspects of the non-league game.

How can you watch two games at the same time to form an opinion then?

I've seen about a quarter of the Stevenage games, watched highlights of the others. Whether or not that is enough to judge the side is debatable. I feel I have seen enough to gauge the problems with the squad, lack of pace in the side was obvious in the summer for example. If anything seeing the contrast with another side has been useful, albeit at a different level.

I think they should give free tickets to different local kids teams and schools each week with their parents paying a reduced price, there is definitely enough spare seats to accomodate them. We certainly need to get the youngsters wanting to come weekly as they will be the next generation of fans

Negativity on social media probably doesn't help. People will shout to the hills when we lose but have nothing to say when we win.

Everyone wants instant success nowadays sadly.

I'm happy to wait to see how this team and squad develops well into next aesson, will criticise when they play like they did yesterday tho.

I don't think anyone is demanding instant success, we might want it, but we don't expect it.

What I would like to see is progress, two steps forward for every one step back, rather than one of each, which seems to be where we are currently. That's why Sarll went, it wasn't getting better, (OK it was arguably getting worse under Sarll).

Dino is currently still in that grace period, helped by a few wins in amongst every few defeats/draws, but a bad run and the pressure soon mounts. Saw my first few Dino Out tweets last night and heard some strong mutterings at home last week in the tea queue before kick-off.

Doesn't help that a lot of the football we produce is shocking to watch. That's ok when we win but it gives fans something to latch onto when we don't.

I meant in general from social media and not exlusive to us, we are a will be a mid table L2 side, occasionally pushing play offs and also flirting with relegation at some points.

Certainly wouldn't be calling for Dino's head this season unless we're near relegation but can't see that happening, progress is interesting, is that promotion, style of play or results?

Promotion isn't important to me. Better football, marginally, and slightly better results is what I'd like.
