Go on. Enlighten me as to how he's thriving in League One (scored Shrewsbury's winner at Stoke in FA Cup replay tonight while he couldn't get a look-in with us - was sent out on loan here there and everywhere, by Westley I presume. I know the game is littered with players who are let go early and go on to have decent careers, so were we right to release him after a handful of games as a teenager?

If you look at his record out on loan with us it’s no surprise we released him. 19 games for Farnborough 0 goals. You can’t keep every young player with the possibility they might someday prove you wrong.
Also Teddy was in charge when we got released

Always get players that thrive elsewhere and some that don't.
But we did with Ryan Johnson until recently, that was one of the most bizarre ones we kept.

Easy to say afterwards but I always liked the look of him in his cameos and thought he was worth a better look at before letting him go.
He is smashing it in L1. I daresay even if he was with us he'd not score particularly often though as you need service to do so.

I think Dipo will also play at a good level in the near future.
Was a touch surprised to see Fejiri and Dipo go, yet Ryan Johnson stayed on the books for years.

Not sure what happened with him I think he's without a club at the moment.

As i mentioned he always looked decent, just wasn't ready, if we had loaned him out to team of Dagenham's quality when we were in league 1 and League 2 when he started appearing on the scene then who knows what might have been.

Personally he always looked decent when he made cameo appearances for us off the bench but wasn't good enough for the first team at the time in my opinon, he scored 3 goals while on loan at various non league clubs so hard to judge how good someone is going to be based on that form, surprised me he did so well for Dagenham and it continues to surprise me how he's still doing well at Shrewsbury, good on the lad though.
