Dino's Anniversary

So then folks, 20th March 2018 was when Dino was appointed manager, meaning it's his first year anniversary tomorrow. How have people found his first year in charge?

I actually think Dino has done a great job so far. Intelligent recruitment over the summer, along with the football club only being 5 points off the Play Offs are certainly two positive points. The club has improved over the past year, especially the team and results.

Congrats Dino, hopefully many more years ahead.

We're on 53 points. That's 3 more than we were aiming for at the start of the season so he's exceeded all expectations.

Even back in 2015 the average tenure was only 14 months. Now I think it's only marginally over a year. Just keeping his job is an achievement.

He's done more than survive, we are marginally exceeding my expectations in terms of league position. If he can reduce the inconsistency next season, he might last another year. The football isn't the best to watch a lot of the time but you can't really fault the league position too much given we are probably slightly above where our budget ranks.

I agree. There are certainly some things that Dino could do better on, game management at times etc. But overall, I think the transition to where the club was last year to now has massively improved. Hopefully we can say the same for in years time.

Realistically he's certainly exceeding my expectations for this season (his first full season) to be just 5 points off the playoffs is an achievement in itself with the amount of changes we made during the close season, so thats a big credit to him and his management team for getting them to gel so quickly, and settle in. Don't be surprised by the impact of players like Revs and Ronnie around the club too who are experienced heads and i'm sure they are helping Dino out as well as his backroom team.
