Got to admire his balls, and despite what many of us think about his appointment, commitment and managerial ability he was presumably a nice bloke that Ronnie has warm feelings for.

Or maybe he's just hoping to get a load of floating Man U & Spurs fans through the gate.

“Got to admire his balls.”

I’ll pass.

“Or maybe he's just hoping to get a load of floating Man U & Spurs fans through the gate.”

Wasn’t that the reason we employed him?

I thought we employed him because he wore loafers without socks?

Thought it was because he was Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup winner and England International.

It'll be great to see Westley back, what he did for our club should never be forgotten. But also Teddy, I felt sorry for Teddy when he was sacked. He tried his best, just didn't have the budget an experience as a League Two manager. It's great to have him back associated. Should be a super day.

I'm saying this without having any facts to back it up, but I'm pretty sure Teddy made some of our best signings in recent memory too (and some of our very worst to counterbalance), so there's that. Even if he didn't get performances out of them.

Franks, Schumacher and Tonge come to mind.

I thought Tonge was very much a Teddy signing through his connections? Leon did a crap job when Gary Smith was in charge!

Our "sign players who thought they were better than league one and Steveange FC" strategy under Gary Smith was not a good one.

Ted is getting some stick but tbf, it's very good of him to come back for this. Would hope that he gets a nice reception.

I don't think there was any hatred towards Teddy. Just that he wasn't right for us. I'm sure everyone will be enjoying the day. Westley is more likely to get booed by his haters! (is Paulio going?).

He wasn't interesting enough to generate hatred, it was just a huge amount of ambivalence.
