Predictions tomorrow

By Boromatt26/4 16:34Fri Apr 26 16:34:20 2019

A long journey of away games this season comes to an end tomorrow. Game of the season? I certainly think so. Should be a cracking game to see our team in, looking forward to it.

Predictions? Well, our form has been superb recently and we’re 6 unbeaten away from home, I reckon we could nick a result. All the pressure is on them, that’s the beauty about football this time of year. Sod it, 1-0 Boro! Chair to bag the goal.

Something to play for next week! Very slim hopes but bring it on!

No "nicer" place to win away. Horrible club, horrible fans and horrible place. I knew someone once who was over 30 and had never ever left Mansfield - not ever! Unbelievable - if there was every a place to get out of fast it's Mansfield!

Great team effort from the Boro today. Well done to all.

Maybe too late but really didn't expect that performance with seemingly quite a few chances carved out today. Brill!

Saw alot of abuse and threats to a group of young Boro lads at the station afterwards by a group of about 6 older blokes. Absolute numpty's the lot of them. They didn't seem that interested though in debating with someone a bit older. Made the victory even sweeter.

The only fans I've seen that are bigger knobheads are FC United but Mansfield as a whole is a cesspit.

I don't dislike them as much as I used to.

The clubs I hate are those who think they're angels, moan at every decision, boo our players, think we are massive cheats, put massive pressure on referees and are blind to all the shit they do.

This is why it's so great seeing Notts County struggle. And why I liked the demise of York. And why I hate Shrewsbury.

Mansfield used to be a bit like that but haven't been in recent years. That's not to say they don't have their fair share of idiots like Grimsby.

Shame about Luton though. The aforementioned clubs and fans, as crappy as they may be, look like fucking Monte Carlo and Monegasques compared to Luton and Lootonishites...

Sadly Luton proved (as Notts Cunty will no doubt do too) you can’t keep a floater down no matter how hard you flush.

If I bet on Cambridge they will.

My worry is Macclesfield only need 1 point. So they'll play cautiously and try not to concede. Then lose by one goal.

I was genuinely, and pleasantly, surprised not to get any abuse on the walk back to the car and to not find any bitching on Twitter, having experienced all of it on most visits in the past.

So credit where it's due. It was a nicely competitive game against a decent side, their captain got into the ref at every opportunity but the only time they really harangued the ref on mass was when Nugent didn't get a card, which he should have... And when Timlin did really early, which was wholly deserved.

I don't hate them anymore, makes a real difference that fatty Evans isn't influencing their antics. Good luck to them.
