They are more orange if anything. But it’s all a bit hazy.

I’m now not sure it was Staines having checked - they usually have navy/black on their sleeves. Just time wise it seemed to fit. 96-98 we had that diagonal kit.

I remember going to a terrible match which I think was a goalless draw. Vs Slough at Broadhall Way (still can’t use the L word*). Frozen pitch, hoofing and heading... and that endless drumming from the away supporters. One Boxing Day maybe? Even dragged my dad along which proved to be the end to his short interest in watching the Boro.

There are only so many times you can listen to “duh duh duh, dum de dum Slough”
