Nothing exciting (would love a foreign side), but to be expected.

Decent competitive matches to help our preparation and sides who should bring a few fans along, despite it only being a PSF.

Seems in recent years we have done away with the obvious money makers eg Arsenal/Spurs. Other than the finance seems much more worthwhile to play a league 1 team. So it might be Southend/Wycombe.

Watford?

There is no point playing the top Prem clubs anymore as they are all off playing tournaments in Asia to increase their own incomes, so we would end up playing their kids. Fans know this so wouldn't bother coming, and so they are no longer moneyspinners.

We would likely get a similar crowd playing Arsenal reserves/kids as playing Posh, but at least Posh is far more competitive to help our season prep.

Looks like I'll just do Portsmouth at home then, assuming I get a free friendly with season ticket.
