Premium Unleaded is 1.24 if you use that.

New Service Station is also being built on Gunnels Wood Road by J7 of A1.

I’ll carry on using the nearest petrol station to when I need fuel.
The difference in filling up a tank is often about £2 unless it’s a motorway service station.

Waitrose can fuck right off. A store that’s always full of people, doing a bloody good trade on over priced groceries, whilst trying to drive out competition from small independent coffee shops by offering its customers free coffee, can fuck right off. And their staff, who think they’re god’s gift to customer service just cos they’re partners of the John Lewis Partnership, can fuck right off as well. Wankers. The fucking lot of them.

They have been 'displaying' their Cars past the crowds on Thursday night past the new KFC since it opened. Despite it being single file & 30mph limit with people stood on the central paving and embankments filming with their phones, the police have seemingly ignored it . Police can not say they were not aware of 'Thursday race-night'.
Hope the youngsters who are injured fully recover, but this HAS been an accident waiting to happen sadly.

"We are not boy racers, we never have been. It's unfair that we have been targeted with that label."
So just who is racing around past the crowds Every Thursday evening?

"The group also say they have always co-operated with Herts police, with a dedicated liasion officer always working alongside the police force".
SVG Police have said on BBC news they didn't know about the event!
Do the owners of the Range car park know of the event (They dont like Boro fans parking on match evenings!)

Last night may have been a worthy Charity event, but Thursday night 'Race night' is well known and very visible so Police and organisors really should have been aware of potential dangers .

Seems to be a lot of arse covering going on.

The police have known about it for years, going back to at least 2014 and are fully aware that the Thursday night ‘meets’ are in fact race nights that take in Lytton Way, Gunnels Wood and Martins Way. Endless neighbourhood complaints and two years of legal challenges, combined with various related difficulties too numerous to explain here, means nothing of any use has been done. All the authorities are fully aware and knew it was an accident waiting to happen. I’m quite happy for the boy racers screaming around at midnight every week to kill themselves, but less happy about the innocent road users being put at risk.

Agree.

We shouldn't conflate the issues, the blame for the injuries lies with the drivers, organisers and those who cheer them on, in that order.

But there is incompetence, or worse dishonesty, either sanctioned by an organisation, or from an individual in a senior position here which should not go unchallenged and impacts on public safety and confidence.
