Avoids more expensive severance if it doesn't work out.

I'm sure they're both getting a few quid extra but as its 'caretaking' it'll be on a non-contractual basis - at least until the 6m point when the arrangement may be deemed permanent by a tribunal.

May have been consulted and in on the discussion as to who to bring in but other than Ashton and Ali (maybe Goodliffe?) I dont think they were his people. Club appointments not Dino's.
