I honestly don't really see what List brings. He looks lively, but he doesn't appear to be able to control his feet. He's either running, head down, into defenders, getting the ball tangled beneath his feet, or misplacing passes. I'd much rather Newton up front, or to see some more of Cowley to see what he can do with a run in the side.

I thought I was miserable and negative, but fuck me Deano, cheer up.

Carter has a shot from distance, because it opens up in front of him, and you're slagging him off saying that he's showboating, and that he should only shoot from distance if he's absolutely sure. What on earth are you talking about?

We've been trying to play through balls, and they haven't worked, so why shouldn't he try something different?

And stop slagging off every single player whenever they do absolutely anything. It's painful listening to it when you're being so negative.

I absolutely agree with the last part.

It's not like it's a common theme (you being negative) and it's inevitable that the winless season will get the better of us all at some point.

Really thought we would win tonight.

Seems like we just have too many poor players and some playing out of position.

Have to get something now v 10 men but doesn't sound like we will.

Still very worrying with the upcoming games as well.

I think the forward line needs tweaking.

Wildin seems to be massively overrated, but otherwise the defence looks alright to me.

But there's no shape or organisation up top. No-one looks like they know what they're doing, List is garbage, Guthrie can't do it all on his own, and Kennedy needs to be in a position where he can actually create.

At least when he gets the ball he looks like he might do something other than trip over the ball, pass to the other team or kick the ball off the other side of the pitch.

Sure, he isn't perfect, but he's a damn sight better than the rest of the dross we have.

Worrying times.
All he seems to do is run straight through a bunch of defenders and not come out with the ball.

Byrom and Soares are on that escalator where the longer you're injured, the better player fans believe you are. Keep them out another month and they'll be Balon d'or contenders.

Joel came in to the side and we actually picked up some points. He knows how to keep possession and pick a pass.

Soares is the muscle that we miss in the middle of the park.

Good joke though 👍

The same Joel Byrom that people were pretty ready to wave off a few months ago?

I'll grant you that two points does, just about, qualify for the plural in 'picked up some points'.

But for me, it’s about how you can compensate for those limitations, which I think Joel does very well with a good footballing brain.

I've had Byrom's back all the way. Even when some preferred Ionnton (christ).

Any stability in that midfield is key at the moment!

We need both of those in the middle at the moment, DP is a big miss as well, we lack any player that drives through the midfield with the ball when the space opens up.
