Initial thoughts:

Cowley looks lively.
Guthrie doing well.
Ionnton is anonymous.
Denton is rubbish.
We miss Chris Stokes at left back.

Edit: Denton is diabolical.

Our best performance of the season. We dominated for long spells and King Sampson has got us playing a new, stylish brand of football.

Cowley is a proper striker, he makes all the right runs. It was like having Matty Godden back in the team.

We'll be top by Easter.

I wanted to see him play more because I haven't seen him play at all. Except against Carlisle where he came on for about 15 minutes, got forward and put in a good cross. So that's my only experience of him.

Denton?

The horrific pass inside to their centre forward that almost put him through on goal was what made me add the edit.

He's kicked the ball out of play several times by misplacing passes.

He doesn't really offer anything going forward, especially when compared to Stokes.

Unfortunately, since Stokes is probably our second best fit centre back, we'll have to make do. But if you don't think he's had a shocker then I'm not sure what game you're watching.

Cowley on the left has baffled me because he's a striker not a wide player. With Denton starting he should be playing left wing.

Iontton starting god knows why he offers nothing .

Guthrire is isolated up front when he's the only one up front.

Maybe its 4312

No wingers, Kenners in the hole, two up top, 3 centre mids.

Any point away at FGR is decent. They have only conceded five times in ten games so scoring was always gonna be tough.

Sounds like we outplayed them and should have won. Point closer to overtaking Scunny and Morecambe too.

That win is coming soon.

Cheers Deano. That’s more like it.

I realise FGR are better these days, and I agree a point there IS fair enough, just wishing we could find a win. It’d be lovely to get it against Cambridge but I don’t see it, sadly. Mind you, I can’t be at the game so it’ll probably be 6-0 (to us) now!
