Macclesfield do appear to have a more difficult run in, but sadly I believe the damage has already been done.

If Macc lose all their remaining games, we would need to win 2 & draw 2, no?

and our form in our last 13 matches

L d L L d L d W L L L L L (home in bold) Points gained = 6

Whatever we all think about GW it is now time for the players to grow a pair , not turn their backs or drop their head, work for each other and take personal responsability, put bodies on the line and fight for their careers and our clubs league future, because on the evidence last 13 not many teams would hire any of them, well would you? Prove us wrong lads and GET STUCK IN

Under ANY other circumstances you’d expect us to pull wins out of that. But we aren’t going to. Even when Macc lose every game (probably draw against us).

Shit.

In all seriousness you can’t see Macc getting any points from the first 3. We, at a push, if we are lucky, could get 1 point per game from those first 3. So there is still time for us to slowly erode their lead, it just depends whether we can actually cling on to draws long enough to get as far as playing them and maybe beating them. But Wezzle had better work some magic, fast, because it’s looking pretty flipping unlikely.

The big game will be against Macclesfield when we go 2 up and lose 3-2 in front of 6,500 fans.

And Macc were down to 10 men.

Was it Barry Hayles we brought on at half time to go for the jugular?

I don't remember the detail, I've erased the whole thing from memory. Some don't even remember it happening.

I can’t find any details of that game happening.

But if I did, I imagine I’d see that we brought Corey Browne, Paul Barrowcliff, and Barry Hayles on as subs!

Imagine starting Dominic Gentle, and being 2-0 at half time, only to bring Barry Hayles on for him and losing 3-2.

Clearly Gentle was the star of that team

My memory is going. It was only 1-0 at half time. Catlin made it 2-0 in the 52nd, they went down to 10 in the 54th, and then scored in the 59th, 75th and 90th.

Can't find when Hayles came on.

There's a 10 min highlight vid on YouTube https://youtu.be/nyeP0zUezoE
