Interview with PW yesterday on radio and he says we have no income coming in and our wage bill is 250k a month!

Worrying times.

Alex’s interview with our friend the fat man from Talk Sport doesn’t fill you with lots of good feeling either. Available on Broadcast Moose’s Instagram

Weren’t the EFL going to grant us some money for the short term? Worrying times though. Really praying that the club can pull through.

They are bringing forward some money we would have got in the summer (£164k) and we can get a loan of a further £120k.

So that covers about five weeks. And half of it will have already been budgeted for, whilst the other half will need paying back.

I've got a spot on my arse, must be Wallace's doing.

Grow up.

Oh he got us into a position did he? I didn't know Wallace was moonlighting in a Wuhan market at the back end of last year.
How can you blame him for having to pay his staff? Surely Klopp is having to do the same?

£250K a month ?????? Is that a typo ????

Who the fuck do we have on the books apart from a bunch of players that surely can’t be earning a lot and definitely won’t be earning a fecking win bonus !!!!!

It is also the total cost of expenses, not just salaries.

So all rent and rates, utilities, professional fees, catering etc.

Been looking at the new Government announcement last week.Seeems we can reclaim up to 80% of wages to at least end of May.It is then up to employer whether to fund the 20% balance if they wish .With this the employee has to do no duties in the period. It so I assume we may have to apply this majority of backroom staff and just fully retain a skeleton staff. Re the players eventhough they are on contracts they are still employed so we could still reclaim the 80%.Problem is if we apply this to them I assume they then could not train etc?.But at least this scheme would help.

It's 80% up to a max of £2,500 a month. So will work for most staff but players would be taking a pay cut... But that's better than not being paid I guess.

This is one way of getting rid of L1 and L2.

Left with PL1 and the new PL2.

The rest will be non league and not supported by the PL in any shape or form financially. EFL will disappear.
