Macclesfield in court

Understandably winding up order hearing put back... To 17th June, Oldham's to July 1st.

In the unlikely event that the actual football situation is finalised by 1st June, there is no way they can confirm our relegation until the EFL charge that follows is concluded, is there?

Or does this mean any penalty incurred will be held over to next season?

Does this change if this season isn't concluded by 17th June? Which it probably won't be.

Proper mess.

Apparently the national league are looking at cancelling the league so we would stay up

Saw that but no real substance behind it that I can find.

The Conference leagues actually want to finish the season. The leagues below them want to end it now (and have done/will do in the next day or so).

I suspect the Conference leagues will end up ending the season pretty soon along with the rest of NL, as is being speculated.

Edit: And ending the season now doesn't necessarily mean we stay up. They can go down the PPG route and give it to the top two. Unlikely, IMO, and the fact Bury are gone meaning there is an extra spot in the FL to fill could well save us. And after all of our positive publicity, how can the FL possibly boot us out, eh?

Edit 2: The Conf now want to finish the season now. Released a statement today asking the FA to assist them in finishing this season as soon as possible.
