The best case scenario is they hand the place vacated by Bury to Barrow and leave the rest as is!

As Rob says below re RDB thoughts, an impossible situation to solve ... however...
I've been thinking about this mess, what with all clubs having self interest and the FA too busy deciding what colour the Wembley arch should be each tonight rather than getting a grip of this mess, i'm in favour of ....
Foxys suggestion i.e. "Restart the season again but the table stays the same".
Therefore we will start on 22 points (+1*) whilst Crewe would have 69 & Swindon on 69 (plus2*). and Mid-table Crawley with 48 etc etc

Make the play off like the National league so more teams have a chance.

https://forums.footballwebpages.co.uk/borochat/article/488585

*Where there is a discrepancy of games played in any leagues just add the average point per game to the teams with less games played than the highest plyed in that league (round it up or down ie 1.4= 1 1.6=2 etc )
All goal difference scrapped and start with 0.
Whilst there will be a bit of winners and loosers. we are only talking a point or two and with 40 plus games yet to play there is plenty of opportunity for teams to change it over the next months.
If we start after August, then cancel the League Cup and Trophy for the season (but finish off this years final's &this seasons FA Cup (no replays).
Will keep the interest going, reward those teams that have been successful so far but give a chance to those just outside playoff zones or facing relegation.
European competitions can sort out there own mess re qualifacation but maybe use ppm and then use just a straight cup competition for a season (like it used to be) without the boring league bit at the start.

Yep it will probably be voided

The EFL will ask the National league to nominate a team to fill the void left by Bury. If they vote on it it should be the league leaders or even more fun pull it out of a hat so long as it’s not woking

As annoying it is to think the league may come to a cancellation because of how well and over achieved my team Boreham Wood have done this season, but I totally agree with what you said about ending it and leave the rest as it is with letting Barrow be promoted and take Bury place.

Barrow deserve the league place after all their hard work this season and if they are allowed entry into league 2 I wish them every success.

Their manager on the other hand might be a decent manager for the current league 2 bottom side ;).

And what if Harrogate Town manage to reel them in?
