Poor Man Utd
My heart goes out to Man Utd , the virus has cost them £28,000,000 and will rise. Not even the cost of a minor player.
They are not in the same world as most businesses and company's who are going bust at a scary rate. They are typical of the majority of Premiership clubs thinking who they can buy at a snip.
Perhaps not buying any players next year they help their local communities instead of buying a multi millionaire party animal.
What's the point of this post?
By the standards at any level of professional football, they have a large number of local lads in the main squad and they all do a lot of work in their local communities. The dig at the end about that is odd. They're one of the few clubs at that level that haven't furloughed any staff and they're making efforts to support their matchday only staff, not only by paying them during the time that there are no matches. They're supporting their staff, and the community the right way.
I get that at that level of football the business of the game can be disillusioning, frustrating and even annoying but taking a swipe because Woodwards answer to a question about the impact of Covid19 is pretty lousy.
Shitposting for the sake of shitposting?
Wow, spot the ManUtd fan!
well you don,t see many in Manchester.
