Looks more of a powerful forward than just a target man. Looks ideal - strong enough to hold the ball up and win headers, but actually mobile enough to get around the pitch. Given how many defenders we've had over the years who just aimlessly punt it up the field, half the issue was not having strikers mobile enough to get under the long balls, let alone be big enough to win the headers. The only one I remember actually being an effective target man was Ryan Brunt.

I like the look of this guy. 16 in 38 isn't setting the world alight, but it's certainly a decent return, especially if he ends up improving our overall attacking play with good hold up play.

The highlight reel I'm watching isn't just a compilation of him scoring bangers, either. Lots of close chances thrown in there too, so it gives a pretty good idea of the sort of player we're dealing with.

We rarely get the most out of poachers.

Big, mobile, strong centre forward. Now we're talking.

He's a conference signing for sure, stays at clubs 18/24mths and goal ratio not bad at that and the next level down, 29 tells me this is short termish but if he can get going along with a more attacking method of play and support from midfield and wide players who can deliver into the danger areas then he could be just whats needed to get out of the non-league, remains to be seen if he can do it at at league level, good luck to him, he should be hungry to prove himself at 29!

He scored ONE goal. On a day that half the team scored.

He never once left the ground for a header.

For a very big bloke he couldn't even hold the ball up.

He had no pace.

He was poor.

“ He never once left the ground for a header.”

I don’t believe that.

“ For a very big bloke he couldn't even hold the ball up”

He’s only 6ft 1. Probably shorter than half the players we had at the time.

Guy is a good player. The kind of player we love. Absolutely crucial for everything good going forwards for Biggleswade Town a few years back. Very popular at Woking and has a decent return most recently at Dover.

The guy's a big unit, exactly what we need up top. Strong with plenty of pace.

On the Youtube highlights, he looks similar to John Akinde in his time at Barnet, in presence. Spot on for the National League.

Worked under Andy Hessenthaler at Dover, so he should have a good work ethic.

Ex Woking, he'll be fired up for that one especially, when we visit, which is nice.
