"Normally if a club is facing administration you get warning signs. Generally they don't pay HMRC, they don't pay the players, there are problems with creditors"

Ring any bells?

Have a listen to the last couple of Price of Football podcasts...

It's scary how quickly and easily Wigan have gone from stability to the edge of the precipice because of nefarious ownership practices.

You really need to go back to why did we end up with Chinese owners in the lower reaches of the Championship in the first place?

"Why can we not have community owned, sustainable clubs?

I wonder how many of the hollowed-out communities outside the south east actually have the capital required to run a modern football club?

When all the money is agglomerated into multinational corporations which dip in and out with the prevailing winds, why should football clubs operate differently?

Parry needs to look at the big picture.

im glad we have a decent club owner.
Wallace has done well bringing this club on from its early days when the club was refounded in 1996.

Remember when Kenny Dalglish wanted our FA cup tie with Newcastle moved to St James’ park, but Wallace stood his ground and insisted it was payed at The Lamex. Great chairmanship.

Why did he want it played in Exeter?

Kennys exact words. ( I can't do the accent):

(Sic) "The Lamex is too small to hold an F A cup tie against Newcastle and the balls bounce too much on their pitch"

Victor Green was never Stevenage chairman. Just like Jimmy Savile never presented Top of the Pops or Christopher Columbus discovered America. It was Lewis Hamilton.

I remember it well. After Smudger deftly cleared it off the line we scrambled it up their end and Winn tucked it away.
