FA CRAZY PLAN ?

By Hitchin Callling11/7 11:59Sat Jul 11 11:59:18 2020

If we are in NL FA want to start in Sept and if so still feel a full season can be completed.
This would see teams on whole playing every weekend in either league or Fa cup plus at least every other midweek.. This does not include any Fa cup replay or any Trophy games at all.
This is mad and if we are relegated and have only a squad of say 20 it is a recipe for injuries etc.
Could get even sillier if there are postponements because of weathercan see 3 games a week scenarios.
That being said even if we are in EFL it may be similar unless they abandon the League cup plus Johnstone Paints thing.

It really isn't that different to a normal season.

Just means there will be around six or seven more midweek games to play, split across eight months. So one extra game per month.

Sadly, it will probably be a convenient way of putting paid to cup replays completely.

Don't panic, 'revising' (or shelving?) County cups will simplify things... 😏
