Heard in what way? The article doesn’t explain anything.

If this results in us staying up I will consider the ghost of the game that didn't happen to be exorcized.

It's nothing to do with us ffs, the sanction either was or wasn't the appropriate one for Macclesfield's circumstances. Circus.

Agree to an extent, however the written judgement and the justification for the 2 points explicitly made it about us.

As a result of which, if we end up getting a favourable decision, it would look like and in all likelihood would be the result of special pleading. How we've got to the point of measuring sob stories is beyond me.

I don't disagree. We have been a shambles and deserve to go down. And would be doomed Were it not for non-footballing issues.

But Macclesfield deserve to feel a real punishment. As it stands their punishment means nothing whatsoever, there is no financial difference between finishing 8th or second bottom. They haven't been denied a playoff spot so they've got away with it.

If I were in charge of the EFL I'd have relegated us both, us for being shit on the pitch, them for being shit off it, and rewarded an extra Conference team with promotion if necessary, but that was never even considered because the EFL chairmen would never have voted for it.

I think Macclesfield should be shafted, but as a result of the book being thrown at them. Now the EFL have thrown the book away and decided to have Deirdre Barlow's trial instead.

I would have regionalized League Two - the whole issue goes away and we make a ton of people happy by expanding league status to about 20 more teams.
