Another player who can kick the ball into the goal. Novel approach but hopefully it will pay off.

So we’re on 3 strikers, 3 centre mids and a keeper?

Newton and Farman will decide what to do once the club knows what league they'll be in next season.

I may be wrong here, but I feel like Newton owes the club. The amount of time he's been out injured he shouldn't be waiting, he should be eager to get out on the pitch and repay the club slightly

He doesn't owe us anything.

If we didn't need him we'd drop him like a stone without a second thought, as a club we're as ruthless as every other club and probably rightly so.

No place for sentiment unfortunately.

So why should he owe us?

We’re going to employ him as a cleaner until he can pay back all of his salary from when he was injured.

The focus on the attacking end makes all the sense in the world but of course makes me expect Cuthbert and TVC to pick up knocks early doors.

15 goals at the wood last season is a impressive scoring form.

Saw him play against Yeovil and Barrow last season, but in both games he didn't really do a lot,but as I know you cant go by 2 games on passing judgement on a player.

Welcome to the Boro Tyrone Marsh.

Am I right in thinking we signed a player from the wood in the 90s, a striker who scored a lot of goals for the wood and looked fast, but soon as he joined Boro at conference level he wasnt strong enough and kept getting shoved off the ball, was it Junior Samules?

2 games?

Deano will have him sussed as either a good player or a waste of money within 10 minutes of his debut, out of position and not yet match fit in a friendly.

I on the other hand have no idea whether he is any good but will give him until at least half time, maybe even a full hour.

out of him and tshimanga I would rather have signed tshimanga after his goal scoring form last season.

Perfect for the NL and players keen to do well if in L2 It worked for GW!
Too many last minute journeymen and desperate signings last season.

Looks like we’re getting a squad ready without knowing exactly what league we’ll be in. Top end conference players will not be outclassed in L2, a lot will be better than the dross we had last season easily.
