Not surprised, I think Bury FC is done for good and Bury fans should concentrate their efforts on the Phoenix club.

What infrastructure does Bury FC have at the moment? Who is actually applying, communicating, making decisions etc? Is it still the bloke who caused them to collapse?

The new Bury are in NWC and will play at Radcliffe. So Gigg Lane just standing empty. Even if just mothballed the maintenance/rates costs etc must be mounting up.Not sure who would be paying these if anybody. Will the old Bury supporters who have not so far now just swtch allegiance ?

Steve Dale is still running' the companies that run Bury. I'd guess he isn't actually paying any bills and all the services have been cut off.

I think the split fan base will, now that the chance of playing as Bury FC has gone, largely unite behind AFC Bury or whatever the phoenix club is called in the NWC league.

If I was them I'd be quite excited, with a solid following, fan ownership and no legacy costs they should rise most seasons for a good few years like AFC Wimbledon did, getting more professional every season and maybe even getting back into Gigg Lane in 3-4 years.
